Wednesday 29 April 2026 The Shakespeare Festival – 2026 The Shakespeare Festival – 2026The Shakespeare Festival 2026 was absolutely fantastic! The year 9 pupils really astounded us with their talent and creativity. We were delighted to have two judges this year, renowned Belfast playwright, Finn Kennedy and Creative Director of Brassneck Theatre Productions, Tony Devlin. Their insightful and valuable comments on each production highlighted the innovative ideas, the dedication and the endeavours of each class in this year's Shakespeare Festival.The year 9 classes excelled themselves in their commitment to their performances: learning lines; producing fantastic sets; managing sound and music; choreographing dances and stage movement and creating colourful costumes. The themes were really exciting and contemporary, and the audience loved them!Our judges awarded prizes to the best actors and supporting actors for each performance as well as trophies for the best: set, choreography, costume, sound, adaptation and best overall performan

Thursday 23 April 2026 Good luck to our U18 girls in the Antrim Final Very best of luck to our U18 girls, who play their third final tomorrow (24th April) against Dominican College, Fortwilliam, in the Antrim Cup Final.The game is at Greenisland FC 3G, with a 1pm kick-off.No matter what happens tomorrow, it has been a terrific run for this group over the last two seasons: a Belfast Cup final, NI Plate winners, and then NI Cup winners.For a number of Year 14 girls, this will be their last match in an Aquinas shirt. They have been absolutely immense.

Friday 17 April 2026 Aquinas All Star News! Congratulations to Year 12 pupil Fintan McArdle on receiving a Queens University Belfast Future Stars award. This is the first time Aquinas have been represented on the boys Future Star Team. However, Fintan follows in his sister Anna's footsteps collecting an Award from Queens GAA with Anna receiving a future star award in 2024. Fintan was corner forward on our MacLarnon winning team and is looking forward to MacRory football next year, Fintan's older brother Declan also played A grade Ulster Schools when in Aquinas, winning the Corn Na Og Shield in 2018!

Thursday 16 April 2026 Spring Concert 2026 On Thursday 26th March we held our annual Spring Concert. It was a fantastic showcase of the talented musicians we have in our school. The night included performances form our Brass Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Traditional Group, School Orchestra, String Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Folk Choir, Year 8-11 Choir, Year 12-14 Choir, Senior Vocal Ensemble and Soloists. Congratulations to everyone involved, your performances were outstanding.
