• Thursday 1 October 2026 Erin to represent Ireland at the RLSS National Lifesaving Championships Congratulations to Erin who was selected for the Irish team that will compete in the RLSS National Lifesaving Championships in Birmingham in November. She was selected after winning the gold medal in her age group at the Irish Regionals over the weekend.

• Monday 7 September 2026 Success for Georgina! Congratulations to Georgina (Yr11) who came second girl in the Laganside Mile in Ormeau Park. She ran the mile in 5 minutes. It is a race organised by the North Belfast Harriers and there were 166 overall running in the Junior Mile
• Friday 28 August 2026 Joe's Golfing success Joe had a very successful summer on the golf course, being selected to represent Ulster in the prestigious Under-14 Inter-provincial Championships, a significant honour which recognises the top young golfers in the country.

There will be further information in their envelopes if this is the case.Senior staff will be available in school to provide advice, support and guidance to students and parents where appropriate.Good luck to all our GCSE students

• Wednesday 29 April 2026 The Shakespeare Festival – 2026 The Shakespeare Festival – 2026The Shakespeare Festival 2026 was absolutely fantastic! The year 9 pupils really astounded us with their talent and creativity. We were delighted to have two judges this year, renowned Belfast playwright, Finn Kennedy and Creative Director of Brassneck Theatre Productions, Tony Devlin. Their insightful and valuable comments on each production highlighted the innovative ideas, the dedication and the endeavours of each class in this year's Shakespeare Festival.The year 9 classes excelled themselves in their commitment to their performances: learning lines; producing fantastic sets; managing sound and music; choreographing dances and stage movement and creating colourful costumes. The themes were really exciting and contemporary, and the audience loved them!Our judges awarded prizes to the best actors and supporting actors for each performance as well as trophies for the best: set, choreography, costume, sound, adaptation and best overall performan
